Quiet change, big impact.
It began with a quote, with a dream, with love, with a simple idea. Mostly, it began because for as long as I can remember, I wanted to do something that had an impact. At 40, looking at my two boys, I felt like I had fallen short. I enjoyed my career but I felt I should be doing more. In the beginning of 2018, I decided I wanted to do something with more purpose, to go back to my belief from my 20’s that businesses could be profitable and do good, have the public’s interest at heart.
“What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”

As I looked at the issues that concerned me, climate change and the environment were on the top of my list. I started researching sustainability, what it meant, how I could implement it in my business and then through my research I came across a lot of information on the fashion industry and how much of a polluter it is, how wasteful fast fashion is and what is doing to our environment, to workers in developing countries. Its impact is astounding.
More astounding was the fact that I didn’t really know a lot of it or how I could change it. I kept digging and digging and the more I found, the more embarrassed I became that I didn’t know or do more. I realized I was worried about climate change, about the environment, but the thought of tackling those issues was so overwhelming that inertia took over and I ended up doing little more than recycling.
That’s when the idea of starting a company to focus on sustainable life choices was born.
Quiet change, big impact. Rebelling against our habits. For my kids. For the next generation. For us. For our planet. We must rebel. For good. For change.
